Yellow Puzzle Jacket

This lined jacket is called a “puzzle” because it’s one of our finest examples of “mix and match”! And it’s the result of time spent together, dreaming of the perfect combination.

What happens to us when we work on one of these garments? We put out all the scraps on the table… the “match guessing game” begins! “…how do you like it? Or like this?! Let’s hope this piece is enough for the cuff… and this one for the yoke!” It’s fun to watch us debate, hope, and rejoice as soon as the perfect match appears before our eyes. Now we wouldn’t change a thing; we love it so much.

Look carefully! The back has some codes… are they mysterious codes? It would seem so, right? And yet, they are the instructions the dyeing and finishing companies where we source our remnants use to mark the fabrics after testing them! At Ida Tess, we’ve chosen to make them a distinctive feature, always putting them front and center!
